Health - How much you can withstand before you lose consciousness. All level 1s start with 10

Strength - A measure of how physically strong a ninja is. Strength controls the maximum weight the character can carry, and melee damage. Armor and weapons might also have a Strength requirement.

Dexterity - A measure of how agile a ninja is. Dexterity is also a measure of a ninja's capabilities with hand signs. Depending on the level of the jutsu, it will require a certain amount of hand signs, and your dexterity will determine how many you can weave in one turn. It also determines your ability to react to actions in mid-battle.

Constitution - A measure of how sturdy a ninja is. Constitution influences hit points, resistances for special types of damage (poisons, illness, heat etc.) and fatigue.

Intelligence - A measure of a ninja's problem-solving ability. Intelligence also controls a ninja's ability to comprehend jutsu, but does not determine the strength of it. It also controls the rate at which experience points are earned, or the amount needed to level up.

Wisdom - A measure of a character's common sense and/or spirituality. Wisdom controls a ninja's skill in performing jutsu, and to sniff out trickery. This applies to genjutsu as well, determining ones capability of going against their own manipulated mind, and noticing they are in a genjutsu.

Charisma - A measure of a ninja's social skills, and sometimes their physical appearance. Charisma generally influences prices while trading and NPC reactions, and even lying (which is compared to the other party's wisdom). Under certain circumstances, this skill can negate combat. What's better than not having to fight at all?

Competing stats

Stats are going to be pit against those of your opponents as you battle in a variety of ways. When these things happen, yes, having a higher stat is good. But it won't completely save you. Rolls are taken in reaction to an action already taken. By default, attempts succeed, unless rolled against, meaning you must be aware of what you're reacting to. You can react at one moment per post.

Take the difference between the stats being compared, then roll between 1 and 100. If the number lands on something equal to or less than the difference taken, you lose your roll. Otherwise, your attempt will succeed. However, a target gets their chance to react, and can roll to specifically save themselves from you. This way, if two people are evenly matched, it's unlikely for one to get the upper hand on the other. A way around this is to utilize your ninja abilities to overwhelm, surprise, and deceive your opponent into being unable to notice your action, taking away their ability to react to it.

Roll str to overpower things
Roll dex to use your reflexes
Roll con to endure something
Roll int to perceive something properly
Roll wis to avoid deceit
Roll cha to influence others

50 strength = 5 physical damage per turn (#of hits irrelevant unless taijutsu tech)/lift 100 lbs
50 dexterity = 5 handseals per turn
50 constitution = used for reisitance/defence rolls
50 intelligence = +10 exp at all times exp is awarded
50 wisdom = 5 jutsu effect points (based on atk,def,sup)
50 charisma = Avoid battle with anyone with 20 charisma/-20 ryo on purchases

Constitution runs on a roll. Winning the roll will mean your character will take no physical damage but they are still hit and must react as if hit. This is to cause longer battles and hopefully help giving and taking hits less scary. Essentially, it’s enduring for long times.
